I’m Kathleen Jacob, the founder of Line of Sight.

For more than eighteen years, I worked in the nonprofit fundraising field. I’ve held positions in a variety of areas including corporate and foundation relations, individual and major giving, and special initiatives. From developing and executing capital campaigns to writing annual appeal solicitations and individual donor stewardship reports, I am a seasoned fundraiser who excels at thinking strategically and guiding teams.

Throughout my career, I reviewed and edited countless grant proposals and reports, and donor publications. I discovered a passion for copyediting and earned my certificate in copyediting from the University of California San Diego’s Extended Studies Program. I meticulously edit with a keen eye for details. Given the organizations where I have worked, I am knowledgeable in the areas of arts and culture, education, social services, and health.
